How to make Japanese style pork cutlets
- Serves: 4

Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops
- salt as needed
- ground pepper
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 egg
- 2 cup panko
- 5 oz shredded cabbage
- vegetable oil for frying
- tonkatsu sauce
Instructions
Break the egg into a shallow dish. Then beat them lightly. Set aside.Trim the fat of pork chops then pound to flatten with meat tenderizer to 1/4 inc thick. Season the pork on both sides with salt and pepper. Dust it with flour. Dip the pork chops into the egg and then into panko to coat each sides. Set aside for about 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a wok. When it is hot, add pork chops and deep-fry for about 5 minutes or until they are golden brown. Drain on a paper towel.
Cut the pork cutlets into bite-size pieces and arrange them on the top of shredded cabbage on the plater. Garnish with lemon wedges if you like. Serve with tonkatsu sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
